1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. Butter and flour one 9×13 inch baking pan. 3. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
4. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 5. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then pineapple juice and vanilla extract.
6. With the mixer on low speed, add dry ingredients alternately with pineapple mixture until well blended. 7. Pour batter into the pan.
8. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. 9. Cool cake in a pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes before turning out onto the rack to cool completely.
